Qatar Chamber discussed the investment opportunities available in the Malaysian state of Perth, and the most important incentives and facilities provided by Malaysia in general to attract foreign investments, in addition to inviting Qatari investors to invest in the state.
This came during a meeting between Mr. Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari, First Vice Chairman of Qatar Chamber, and His Highness Altanku Syed Faizaluddin Putra, son of Altanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalul Lail, Crown Prince of the Malaysian State of Perlis, and his accompanying delegation, where they reviewed the economic and trade cooperation relations between Qatar and Malaysia.
His Highness Altanku Syed Faizaluddin Putra said that the aim of the visit is to inform the Qatari side about the most important investment opportunities available in the state of Perlis in various sectors, such as tourism, industry, agriculture, mining, logistics, education, mining and fisheries, calling on Qatari businessmen and investors to visit Malaysia and the state of Perlis and learn about the investment opportunities available in these sectors.
In turn, Mr. Mohammed bin Towar Al Kuwari praised the trade relations between the two countries, noting that there is a common interest in developing bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields towards broader horizons.
He stressed the Qatar Chamber’s keenness to enhance cooperation between the Qatari private sector and its Malaysian counterpart, noting that the Chamber encourages Qatari businessmen to invest in Malaysia, which provides investment opportunities in various sectors.
