Today, Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Chamber’s headquarters, Mr. Ali Busherbak Al-Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Qatar Chamber, received His Excellency Mr. Bakhit Batyrchaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Qatar, in the presence of Mr. Olgas Sadikov, Counselor at the Embassy.
During the meeting, they discussed economic and trade cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Kazakhstan and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to reviewing the investment climate and opportunities available to establish partnerships and cooperation between the Qatari private sector and its Kazakh counterpart.
Mr. Ali Busherbak Al-Mansouri stressed that the Qatari-Kazakhstan relations are distinguished, noting the existence of many agreements signed between the two countries in various fields, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation at the private sector level, and exchanging visits of business delegations between the two sides.
Al Mansouri noted that the State of Qatar provides an attractive investment environment, which opens the way for more cooperation and partnerships between Qatari companies and their Kazakh counterparts in various sectors, expressing that the Qatar Chamber welcomes Kazakh trade delegations to visit the State of Qatar, meet Qatari business owners, and discuss available opportunities for cooperation and partnerships.
For his part, the Kazakh ambassador praised the strong relations between his country and the State of Qatar, noting that Qatar is one of Kazakhstan’s most important partners in the region.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Ambassador reviewed the features of the Kazakh economy and the most prominent investment opportunities available, especially in the sectors of infrastructure, transportation, services, tourism, mining, and others. He also reviewed the most important Qatari projects and investments in Kazakhstan, in the construction, banking, and energy sectors, calling on the Qatar Chamber and Qatari investors to visit his country and explore the available investment opportunities closely.
He also stressed the importance of activating the joint business council, organizing trade missions between the Qatari and Kazakh business communities, and enhancing mutual participation in events and exhibitions organized by both sides, which contributes to expanding areas of trade and investment cooperation and opening new horizons for partnerships between companies in the two countries.
