Qatar Chamber participates in the meeting of the Union of Gulf Chambers

The Qatar Chamber delegation participated in the 65th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers, which was held for the first time outside the GCC countries in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in conjunction with the activities of the First Jordanian Gulf Investment Conference, organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers. .
The Chamber delegation participating in the meeting was headed by His Excellency Mr. Rashid bin Hamad Al-Athba, Second Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, and the delegation included His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Mahdi Al-Ahbabi and Mr. Nasser bin Sulaiman Al Haider, members of the Board of Directors.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Faisal Al-Rawas, President of the Federation of Gulf Chambers, and in the presence of the heads of delegations of the chambers of commerce in the GCC countries, and His Excellency Mr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, Secretary-General of the Federation.
The meeting agenda included discussing the minutes of the previous meeting, following up on its decisions, and the recommendations of the 58th meeting of the Executive Leadership Committee, in addition to discussing the annual estimated budget for the year 2025, and the outcomes of the twelfth consultative meeting with Their Excellencies the Ministers of Trade and Industry of the GCC countries. The meeting also discussed the Bahrain Chamber’s presentation on «Gulf Observatory».
The meeting also discussed a group of important issues related to strengthening Gulf economic cooperation, enhancing intra-Gulf trade and Gulf economic integration, increasing cooperation between the private sector in the GCC countries and expanding mutual investments.
