The company “Discover Qatar” announced that it has received more than 10,000 visitors for a temporary period in Doha within one month, for the first time since the re -launch of the temporary stopping program between flights in Qatar in August 2021.

The company said, in a statement, that this achievement reflects the growing ability of the State of Qatar to attract visitors and tourists as a leading global destination for tourism, as well as the increasing demand that the temporary stopping program between flights in Qatar has, pointing out that the program was recorded last January more than 10 Thousand and 500 visitors, compared to six thousand and 651 visitors in January 2024, which contributed to achieving significant growth on an annual basis by 165% between March 2024 and January 2025.

This program also succeeded in achieving exceptional growth in the rate of hotel reservations this year, as more than 100,000 hotel nights were booked, which represents twice the rates recorded during the previous year.

This success is attributed to the “Qatar holidays” company, which is the largest shareholder in the program sales with the completion of more than a third of the reservations through it, benefiting from the distinguished capabilities of Qatar Airways in the field of marketing for its services around the world.

The temporary stopping program between flights in Qatar is increasing popular and using between travelers on Qatar Airways, where 20% of customers use “Aveyus” points within the loyalty program to complete their reservations.

It should be noted that the growth of the program to stop the flights in Qatar is due to the financial support provided by “Qatar Discover” supported by effective marketing campaigns to lead Qatar Airways work teams in Doha and its foreign offices around the world, in addition to the increasing demand for travel to the State of Qatar from most of the global destinations Including the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany and the Netherlands.

The stop between the trips in Doha also received great support from the global travel sector, specifically in Australia, South Africa, Iran, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand, as this contributed to enhancing the ability of this program to attract more travelers for entertainment or work purposes alike.

This achievement sheds light on the world travel experience through Hamad International Airport, which won the ranking of the best airport in the world from Skytrax International in 2024.
