“Qatar International Food” celebrates cooking arts from all over the world

Visit Qatar “Visit QATAR” the launch of the fourteenth edition of the Qatar International Food Festival with a distinctive opening ceremony in the hotel garden, marking the celebration of 11 days that combine cooking and entertainment arts.
The festival version is the largest and most interesting year, as it includes more than 100 local exhibitors, 27 restaurants and cafes globally, in addition to many entertainment offers. The festival offers an exceptional cooking experience, which combines global and local flavors, and reflects Qatar’s vision in enhancing its position as a leading destination for cultural and tourism exchange.
In his speech at the opening of the festival, Eng. Abdel Aziz Ali Al -Mawlawi, CEO of “Visit QATAR”, said: “The Qatar International Food Festival has evolved into a global platform that celebrates excellence in cooking art, and reflects the rich cultural diversity of Qatar and its commitment to innovation. His continuous success also confirms the pivotal role played by the hospitality and restaurants sector in supporting the tourism sector in Qatar, and providing exceptional experiences for both visitors and residents.
This year’s edition of the festival is witnessing the presence of the Michelin Dalil Village, which provides a distinguished experience in the art of cooking, as it allows the taste of exclusive creations from some of the best chefs who have Michelin stars around the world.
The QIFF is also the competition square among the most prominent activities of this year, where visitors can follow the chefs competing on stage. The cooking studio will also host a selection of local and international chefs to provide interactive workshops and direct cooking lessons. For those who want a unique experience, “dinner in the sky” provides an exceptional cooking adventure where the guests are raised 50 meters above the surface of the earth for a wonderful meal with a panoramic view of the festival and the Doha horizon.
The festival site extends this year to an interactive cooking areas, where each region provides a distinctive experience, such as the “Qatar flavors” area, which celebrates the rich scene of restaurants in Qatar, and offers a mixture of popular food and luxury restaurants, while the Latin food area provides authentic flavors from Latin America like Taco, Impanada and Cevici. As for the global flavors, they combine international street dishes with gourmet flavors from all over the world, while the health pillar focuses on vegetable and sustainable food. For lovers of coffee and sweets, the coffee and bakery corner provides an experience rich in various offers that include sweets, coffee and delicious baked goods.
