Croatian Igor Biscan, Al-Ahly coach, confirmed the difficulty of the match against Al-Arabi, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at Al-Thumama Stadium, in the fifth round of the Qatar Football League / Ooredoo Stars League.
Biskan said in the press conference preceding the match: “Al-Ahly always looks forward to continuing the positive results in the competition with its collective and individual capabilities and keenness to continue on the path of distinguished and effective performance.”
He added that Al-Ahly prepared well for the match and worked with its players to increase their levels of mental focus, believing that the competitor is a strong team with distinguished elements and that its results in the past rounds do not reflect its true level, pointing out that the match has great technical and moral value for both teams.
Al-Ahly coach stressed the importance of continuing the distinguished performance and achieving victories, considering the match against Al-Arabi as one of the most important matches for him, and the team must appear at a strong level in it to achieve the desired result for the club’s fans.
In turn, Englishman Anthony Hudson expressed his happiness to take on the task of coaching Al-Arabi, and his aspiration to achieve victory and restore balance during the upcoming match against Al-Ahly, which he confirmed will not be easy.
Hudson explained that he is aware of the size of the challenge that awaits him during the match against Al-Ahly, stressing his confidence in the team’s ability to achieve positive results during the upcoming matches.
Hudson added that he will work hard to improve the team performance and focus on the details of the match, noting that he asked his players to show a high fighting spirit during the match, especially since the opponent has distinguished players and has presented good levels during the past four rounds.
