Doha- Today, Tuesday, Doha will witness the launch of the activities of the second edition of the Qatar International Healthcare Exhibition and Conference (Qatar Medicare), which is organized by the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the International Exhibitions Company (IFP Qatar) and sponsored by the Ministry of Public Health in Qatar.
The event, which runs from November 11-13, comes at a time when the health sector in Qatar is witnessing a qualitative boom, which reflects the country’s trend towards consolidating its regional position as a center of excellence and innovation in the fields of medicine and health care.
Qatar Medicare is more than just a trade exhibition, as it is an embodiment of the strategic transformation in Qatari health care, towards a knowledge economy based on innovation and scientific research. It also represents a qualitative event that strengthens Qatar’s position as a regional center for medical technology and medical tourism and opens the door to new partnerships between the public and private sectors.
With the increasing participation of major international institutions, the event appears as a practical tool for translating national visions into tangible achievements that contribute to building a more efficient and sustainable health system that keeps pace with Qatar’s ambitions to be a global destination for distinguished health care.
Accelerated development
The Acting Director General of the Qatar Chamber, Ali Saeed Al Mansouri, believes that the health sector in the country is witnessing rapid development, which has made Qatar one of the most prominent medical tourism destinations in the Middle East.

Qatar Medicare aims to support this vision by providing an integrated platform for cooperation between the public and private sectors, attracting foreign investments and exchanging experiences between actors in the medical industry globally.
