Qatar participates in the World Communications Organizers 2025

The State of Qatar participated in the World Communications Organizers 2025 organized by the International Telecommunication Union in cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and by hosting the Saudi Communications, Space and Technology Authority during the period from August 31 to September 3 at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh.

The State of Qatar represented at the symposium a delegation from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, headed by Eng. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al -Muslimani, head of the authority.

The symposium was held under the slogan “Organization for Sustainable Digital Development” and gathered organizers, policy makers and digital stakeholders from all over the world to discuss the advanced organizational scene and the future of a comprehensive digital transformation in support Visions on the most prominent policy and regulation issues in the digital sector, with the participation of delegations from more than 190 countries.

The event program includes a round table for the heads of the regulatory authorities on empowering the organizers as builders of the digital system, and a major training course on the organization on the strategic forensic of cooperation frameworks in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as sessions organized on major axes that included cooperation, delivery, trust, protection, inclusion, empowerment, sustainability and innovation to discuss safe and flexible infrastructure issues, and flexible infrastructure issues, Consumer protection, digital inclusion, skills development, and sustainable growth paths, as well as organizing high -level interactive discussion sessions related to public policies and organization.

Eng. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al -Muslimani, head of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, said, by the way, that the authority’s participation in the global symposium for communications organizers reflects its keenness to exchange experiences and visions with its counterparts from different countries of the world, and discussing best practices in the field of organizing the telecommunications and information technology sector in the context of global digital transformations, indicating the special importance that international cooperation acquires its role in enhancing the continuous efforts in developing the sector locally according to best organizational practices, and in line with the strategy The committee for the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, which contributes to enhancing the path of sustainable development of the state.

Within the framework of the event, Eng. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Muslimani, Chairman of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, held several meetings as a certain chairman of the conference delegated delegates to the International Telecommunication Union 2026, with the delegations represented by the member states of the Union, and with Mrs. Doreen Bougdan-the Secretary-General of the Federation, where issues related to communications and information technology were addressed in the framework of the ongoing preparations to host the conference in Doha next year.
