The Qatar Postal Services Company “Qatar Post” has expanded the scope of the international money transfer service, by allowing remittances to be sent to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in cooperation with Jordan Post, as part of its services aimed at providing fast and safe financial solutions to citizens and residents.

The new service allows money to be transferred from various Qatar Post branches to Jordan within a period not exceeding two hours, with transfers being disbursed to beneficiaries through Jordanian Post offices, ensuring ease of access and safety of receipt procedures.

Jordan’s addition to the service comes within the Universal Postal Union financial services system, which Qatar Post relies on to provide international transfer services at a low cost and with easy procedures, with the ability to send money in local currency from within Qatar.

Thus, the international money transfer network via Qatar Post includes five destinations: Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Djibouti, and Serbia.

Qatar Post confirmed, through its website, that the service provides a safe and economical alternative for sending money abroad, especially to areas where traditional transfer services may not be widely available, noting that relying on the network of accredited post offices ensures the speedy arrival of remittances and the efficiency of their delivery to beneficiaries.

The service is considered one of the least expensive options in the money transfer market within Qatar, in addition to the flexibility it provides in sending and receiving, and the speed of completing transactions through postal branches.
