The State of Qatar received 2.950 million visitors through its various land, air and sea ports during the first ten months of this year.
Qatar Tourism data showed that the number of visitors to Qatar increased by 21.7 percent last October, reaching 336,000 visitors, compared to last September, which recorded a level of 276,000 visitors.
The data indicated the diversity of sources of visitors coming to Qatar during the period from January to October 2026, as the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council came in first place with 39.9 percent of the total number of visitors and 1.176 million visitors, while the countries of Asia and Oceania came in second place with 21.4 percent of the total number of visitors and the number of visitors reached 630 thousand visitors.
Europe ranked third with 620,000 visitors, or 21 percent of the total number of visitors, while the Americas ranked fourth with 7.3 percent, with 216,000 visitors.
Other Arab countries came in fifth place with a number of visitors of 209,000 visitors, which represents 7.1 percent of the total number of visitors, while other African countries came in sixth place, recording a number of visitors of 96 thousand visitors, which is about 3.3 percent of the total number of visitors.
