Qatar Science and Technology Park, a member of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, launched the business incubator program in its new form with the launch of the fall 2026 batch, which includes 52 local and international startups representing 19 sectors.

The Oasis explained, in a statement today, that the program provides an integrated path extending over 16 weeks to support emerging companies in moving from the stage of testing and developing ideas to launching projects and preparing for investment.

She pointed out that the new program includes an integrated journey consisting of three stages, starting with an intensive project development stage, followed by the incubation stage that focuses on implementation and entering the market, all the way to the financing stage and communicating with investors.

In this context, Mrs. Ramah Al-Shaqqi, President of Qatar Science and Technology Park, said that promising emerging companies are not built on ideas alone, but rather on testing assumptions, proving the existence of real demand in the market, and turning the results into practical steps.

She added that the business incubator program in its new form provides ambitious founders with the support and opportunities necessary to build companies with real potential, consolidate their presence in Qatar and move from there to the region’s markets.

The program begins with an intensive phase lasting four weeks, during which the founders work to test and develop their projects in a number of basic aspects, including aligning the product with market needs and readiness, the market entry strategy and its potential, in addition to financial aspects and team dynamics.

This stage combines workshops, mentorship, practical application, field work, and periodic project presentations, allowing founders to test their assumptions, measure their progress, and build on the results to develop their projects. After a systematic evaluation process, the selected startups move to the incubation stage, which lasts eight weeks, where ideas and plans are transformed into practical steps on the ground.

During this stage, the founders focus on establishing their companies, engaging in the local market, and implementing pilot projects for their solutions, in addition to preparing to expand regionally and attract investments.

The program concludes with the financing phase, which lasts for four weeks, as the Oasis works to connect startups ready for investment with appropriate investors, facilitate communication between them and follow up discussions with them, based on the progress the companies have achieved throughout the program.

The fall 2026 batch launched on September 1, making it the first batch to join the business incubator program in its new form. The batch includes 52 startup companies, including 25 local companies and 27 international companies, representing 19 sectors, including educational technology, medical technology, financial technology, cybersecurity, and sports technology.
