Qatar Tourism and Visit QATAR, launch new partnerships

Qatar, Tourism and Visit QATAR, started their participation in the Arab Travel Market Exhibition 2025 in Dubai, one of the most prominent activities in travel and tourism at the region level, by announcing two major achievements on the opening day.
Qatar Tourism, in partnership with Celestyal Cruises, announced the operation of two ships, MS Celestyal Journey and MS Celesteal Discovery during the 2025 winter season of cruises.
The announcement was attended by Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al -Mawlawi, CEO of Visit QATAR, Mr. Omar Al -Jaber, Head of the Tourism Development Sector in Qatar, and Mr. Lee Haslit, CEO of Commercial Affairs at Celestall.
According to this partnership, the MS Celetyal Journey steam will operate its flights in the Arabian Gulf region from Doha as a major station, while the Doha port will receive a MS Cellestyal Discovery steamer with regular stops within its regional paths. Where it is expected that more than 25 trips and more than 40,000 visitors to Doha are expected to be received during the next season through the two ships.
This expansion comes based on the success achieved by the company in the previous season, which witnessed the arrival of more than 14,000 passengers in Doha, and is a major step in strengthening Qatar’s position as a pioneering marine tourism center in the region.
Visit QATAR also signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei, the global technology company. The agreement was signed by Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al -Mawlawi, CEO of Visit QATAR, and Mr. Ben Lee Bruce, President of the Huawei Consumer Business Group.
Under this partnership, the two parties will cooperate in developing an integrated marketing strategy targeting the markets of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, China and Europe. Huawei will also provide access to its digital platform to support data -based tourism planning, as well as providing a comprehensive interactive experience for visitors through Harmony Atomic Cards, Huawei Wallet, Petal Maps, and artificial intelligence -backed travel tools.
On the other hand, Qatar Tourism and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi announced a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening regional tourism ties by launching a joint holiday package. This initiative allows travelers to combine the visit of Doha and Abu Dhabi within one travel program that includes two cities, which facilitates exploring the two destinations on one integrated trip.
Both “Qatar Airways holidays” and “Federation holidays” managed by the Capital holiday company, one of the companies of ADNEC Group, are the main pillar of this cooperation, where the two sides will design custom travel packages that include a carefully selected group of hotels and tourist experiences that reflect the essence of both destinations. These bouquets will be promoted through the travel agents in the main markets in Europe and North America.
