Qatar Tourism, in cooperation with Forbes Travel Guide, organized the second session of its training program dedicated to leaders in the hospitality sector, with the aim of raising the level of provision of luxury hospitality services, aligning hotel operations with approved international standards, and supporting the continuous professional development of cadres in the sector, in addition to enhancing the experience of visitors to the country.
Qatar Tourism explained, in a statement today, that the session, in which 241 workers in the hospitality sector participated, comes as a continuation of the success of the inaugural training session held last June, and forms part of a series of quarterly training programs held throughout the current year.
Regarding the training program, Mr. Omar Abdul Rahman Al Jaber, Director of Operations Affairs at Qatar Tourism, highlighted, in a statement, Qatar Tourism’s efforts to develop the capabilities of hospitality sector leaders and raise the level of efficiency and excellence in service provision, which is directly reflected in the quality of the experience experienced by guests and visitors of Qatar, indicating that this program comes within the ongoing efforts to improve the hospitality system in Qatar, and enhance standards of service and excellence, which contributes to building a more competitive and sustainable sector, and enhances the quality of experience for visitors and the local community.
For his part, Mr. Daniel Boulderdijk, Executive Trainer at Forbes Travel Guide, noted the distinction of these training sessions due to the great keenness of the participants to embody the principles of distinguished service, in a way that leaves a good impression on visitors.
This training program is an extension of the strategic partnership signed between Qatar Tourism and Forbes Travel Guide during the World Travel Market exhibition in London 2025, which includes hotel evaluations, training on service excellence, harmonization of hotel standards, and international marketing cooperation, in addition to long-term initiatives to develop the hospitality sector.
