Qatar will host the final stage of the 2024 Beach Handball World Tour next month

The International Handball Federation announced today that Qatar will host the final stage of the 2024 World Beach Handball Tour for men and women from November 6 to 7.
Teams (Qatar, Brazil, Germany, and Croatia) will participate in the men’s competitions, while the women’s competitions will witness the participation of teams (Brazil, Spain, Germany, and Portugal), with the winners being crowned in Doha as champions of the 2024 World Tour.
The first stage of the 2024 World Beach Handball Tour was held in Brazil, and the host country won both the men’s and women’s titles, while the second stage was held in Spain, where the host country won the women’s title and Germany won the men’s title.
The World Beach Handball Tour was launched at the 2022 World Beach Handball Championship for Men and Women in Greece, where the Croatian national team won the men’s title and the Spanish national team won the women’s title.
The Qatari team was crowned champion of the World Beach Handball Tour last year after winning the final match of the fourth and final stage, which was held in Doha, over its Brazilian counterpart 2/1.
It is noteworthy that the Qatari beach handball team has achieved many achievements in recent years, the most notable of which was obtaining the silver medal in the 11th World Games held in the British city of Birmingham in 2022, and obtaining third place twice in the 2014 World Championship in Brazil and 2016 in Hungary. And winning the Asian Championship title six times in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2023, and winning the gold medal in the Asian Beach Games in 2012, 2014 and 2016, in addition to winning the gold medal in the Second Gulf Beach Games in Doha in 2015.
