Today, Qatar SC announced the signing of Moroccan coach Youssef Al-Safri to lead the first football team in the current 2024-2025 season.
The club stated in a statement on its website on the X platform that Al-Safri has become the coach of the first team.
The contract with coach Youssef Al-Safri comes before the next match of Al-Qatar Club against Al-Ahly on September 14, in the fourth round of the Qatar Football League (Ooredoo Stars League), for the current season 2024-2025.
Safri previously led Qatar SC in a first term between 2021 and 2023.
Qatar SC finished the Qatari League Championship last season in eighth place with (25) points. The team also qualified for the Emir Cup final, losing to Al Sadd 1-0 at Education City Stadium.
