QTerminals, which is responsible for managing operational operations at Hamad Port, announced that it achieved new records during the month of October, by handling 268,477 tons and 16,145 units of ro-ro cargo.
The company stated through its official account on the “X” platform that the new achievement represents the highest rate of handling of ro-ro cargo ever at the port.
QTerminals also confirmed that this achievement confirms Hamad Port’s commitment to operational excellence, and reflects the pivotal position of the State of Qatar in the global maritime logistics field.
Hamad Port received 149 ships in October 2024, and the total number of containers, bulk cargo, non-containerized bulk cargo, and ro-ro cargo handled by QTerminals at the port amounted to 268,477 tons of ro-ro cargo, 16,145 units of ro-ro cargo, while non-containerized bulk cargo amounted to 91,056 tons, while bulk goods amounted to 45,022 tons, and as for standard containers, they amounted to about 130,627.
