The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has officially announced the schedule of matches for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026™, which will be held from November 19 to December 13, with the participation of elite emerging teams from around the world.
This edition comes after the remarkable success achieved by the first edition of the tournament with the participation of 48 teams, which was hosted by Qatar last year, attracting large numbers of fans who enjoyed following the promising talents who demonstrated their skills on the global stage.
This year’s edition is expected to witness many anticipated matches resulting from the tournament’s draw, with the participation of 48 teams that will compete for the title. The meeting of the Qatari team (representing the host country) and its Egyptian counterpart in the first group competitions stands out as one of the most prominent confrontations in the group stage, in a match that is expected to witness a distinctive enthusiastic atmosphere. Meanwhile, Spain and Morocco will meet in a strong confrontation in Group H. Football fans are also looking forward to the Group 12 competitions between Colombia and Japan, the champions of South America and Asia U-17, respectively.
The tournament will once again be held at the Aspire Zone Competition Complex, where eight matches will be played daily during the group stage and round of 32. The matches will start from Saturday to Wednesday, at 3:30 pm local time, while the last matches of the day will be held at 6:30 pm. On Thursday and Friday, the competitions will start at 4:00 pm, and the last matches will be held at 7:00 pm.
The final match is scheduled to be held on December 13 at Khalifa International Stadium, the ancient sporting edifice that this year marks the 50th anniversary of its opening in 1976, and which has previously hosted eight matches during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2025, in addition to the final of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025™.
