Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Trabzonspor striker, sent a veiled message to the president of Besiktas club, through his official account on the “X” platform, after the match that brought the two teams together yesterday evening, Monday, after Salah published several photos from the match, and commented on them in Turkish, “Yüzde otuz beş,” meaning “thirty-five percent,” in reference to previous statements by Serdal Adali, Besiktas president, in which he talked about the failure of the deal to include Salah last summer in the club due to the request of the player Rami’s agent. Abbas received a commission of 35% of the value of the deal, which the club rejected, causing Salah’s transfer to Besiktas to falter, adding that he did not believe that Salah was aware of this request.

Rami Abbas had previously sparked controversy by publishing a photo of himself with Salah wearing a Trabzonspor shirt, in a seemingly sarcastic response to the same number. Thus, Salah’s new message reopened the file before the fans of both teams.

Salah’s veiled message to the Besiktas president came after Trabzonspor’s victory over Besiktas with two unanswered goals, in the eighth round of the Turkish Premier League, with the goals scored by Ozan Tufan and Mohamed Salah.

Salah raised his tally to 8 goals, topping the league’s top scorers list. With this result, Trabzon reached 16 points in fourth place, while Besiktas’ score froze at 15 points in fifth place.
