The Executive Committee of the Qatar Football Association held a meeting chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association, to discuss a number of topics on the agenda and take the necessary decisions regarding them. The Executive Committee agreed to accept the resignation submitted by Mr. Khalid Abdullah Al-Sulaiti, expressing its thanks and appreciation for the efforts he made during his work period, and wishing him success.
The committee also approved the appointment of His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Saud Al Thani as a member of the Executive Committee based on the nomination submitted by the Executive Committee, in order to complete the current session of the Board of Directors until 2027, in accordance with the procedures and regulations applicable in the Federation’s statute, provided that the decision is approved during the next General Assembly meeting.
