Yesterday, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Minister of Transport, met with His Excellency Mr. Reagan Winson Aliklik, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Nauru.
During the meeting, aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of transportation and civil aviation were reviewed, and ways to develop them, especially air transport activities, were discussed. Following the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Transportation witnessed the signing of an air services agreement with initials and an open skies memorandum of understanding between the two countries that allows the national air carrier to expand its network of destinations to reach more global destinations.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed Faleh Al-Hajri, in charge of managing the work of the General Civil Aviation Authority, and Mr. Gopikrishna Narayan, Director of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Nauru.
