Our team concluded its participation in the 2024 Arab Billiards and Snooker Championship, which brought down the curtain on its competitions in Riyadh over a period of 9 days. Our team achieved good results in the tournament, as it won bronze in the men’s 15-ball snooker competition, the Iraqi team won gold, the UAE team won silver, and the Bahrain team won bronze with Qatar.
In the men’s singles 9-ball billiards competition, Qatari Bashar Hussein and Algerian Oqba Mohammadi won third place and the bronze medal, Bahraini Hussein Maroum also won silver, and Emirati Mahmoud Sharif won gold.
Ahmed Saif’s players won bronze in the Over-40 Masters Snooker competition, along with Bahraini Habib Sabah, while Emirati Mohammed Shehab won gold and Iraqi Firas Kamel won silver.
In the men’s carrom competitions, the Qatari team, along with its Saudi counterpart, won bronze, while the Egyptian team won gold, and the Lebanese team won silver.
