Strengthening cooperation and trade exchange with Kosovo

Qatar Chamber signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, aiming to strengthen, develop and diversify economic cooperation and encourage and facilitate procedures that lead to the development of trade exchanges. The memorandum of understanding was signed at the conclusion of a meeting between His Excellency Mr. Rashid bin Hamad Al-Athba, Second Vice President of the Qatar Chamber, with Mr. Lulzim. Ravona, President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, which was held at the Chamber’s headquarters.
The memorandum of understanding also aims to exchange economic information, cooperate in the field of exhibitions, exchange visits, and organize joint meetings for businessmen in order to enhance joint cooperation in the commercial fields.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides, which would reflect on the trade and economic relations between the two friendly countries, and the role that the private sector can play to strengthen these relations.
His Excellency Mr. Rashid bin Hamad Al-Athba praised the relations between the State of Qatar and Kosovo, especially in the commercial and economic fields, pointing out that the aim of signing the memorandum of understanding between the Qatar Chamber and its counterpart in Kosovo is to strengthen trade cooperation relations between the two parties, facilitate procedures and bring businessmen closer together. From both countries.
For his part, Mr. Lulzim Ravona, President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, said that the memorandum of understanding between the two chambers will play an important role in strengthening relations between businessmen and investors from the two countries, pointing out that his country, which is characterized by opening foreign investment in various economic sectors, seeks to attract Qatari investments.
