This evening, the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club organized the competitions of the second part of the Sealine Cup Race, which included 4 rounds after completing 5 rounds last Thursday on the same track.
The first half of today’s race, designated for beginner purebred Arabian horses, 4 years old, for a distance of 2100 metres, witnessed the victory of the horse “Jadhas”, owned by Dhafi Rashid Al-Ardi Al-Marri, in first place, with a difference of a length and a half from his nearest competitor, under the supervision of trainer Youssef bin Taher and led by the horse, Saleh Salem Al-Marri.
In the second half, designated for beginner purebred crossbred horses, aged 3-6 years, over a distance of 1300 metres, the horse “Ghassan”, owned and trained by Osama Omar Ismail Al-Dafa, won first place, led by the horse Sufyan Saadi, with a length difference over his nearest competitor.
The third half was devoted to the purebred crossbred horses of local production, the beginners who won a race, 3 years old, for a distance of 1,300 metres. The horse “Doha Bu Thila”, the king of Wadhanan Racing, was able to win first place under the supervision of trainer Alban de Meul and led by the horse Sufyan Saadi, with a difference of two and a half lengths from his nearest competitor.
In the fourth round, designated for purebred crossbred horses of local production, a conditional round, 3 years and above, for a distance of 1400 metres, the competition was strong among the participating horses with the aim of obtaining first place, and the horse “Harb” Malak Al Raban Racing succeeded in clinching the victory at the finish line under the supervision of trainer Ibrahim Saeed. Al-Maliki and led by the imagination of Thomas Lukasek.
