Chinese researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, South China Agricultural University and Tsinghua University have developed a system of “Planet GBT”, an expert system for questions and answers related to the functional genome of the plant and based on the Araboids plant, and is able to provide accurate responses and specialized analyzes in this field.
This achievement represents a big leap forward in applying artificial intelligence to the functional genome of the plant, and Plannet GBT will expand in synthetic biology and supports additional types of crops in the near future.
The system based on the Arabbusis plant is characterized by a strong framework for generalizing biological knowledge, and serves three main purposes: “promoting general agricultural education, helping researchers at the beginning of their career in researching the functional genome of the plant, and supporting senior scientists in strategic decision -making.”
Thanks to its open source design, the ease of transportation from it and its continuous updates, not only the “Planet GBT” efficiency and the spread of knowledge, but also paves the way for the development of specialized artificial intelligence tools across the vertical fields.
