Yesterday, the Qatar Volleyball Association announced the schedule of beach volleyball competitions for the 2024-2025 season. The new season’s program begins with the first open tournament (under 20 years of age), which will be held during the period from October 31 of this year until next November 2nd, followed by the second open tournament of under 16 years of age. During the period from 20 to 22 next December, then the third men’s open tournament scheduled from 9 to 11 January 2025.
The Federation season continues with the holding of a number of different tournaments for all categories, and will conclude with the organization of His Highness the Emir’s Cup, during the period from May 15 to 17 next year. The Federation explained in a statement that the new season’s program calendar takes into account the importance of providing the national teams with the opportunity to prepare for longer training periods during the camps scheduled to be held in the coming period. The statement indicated that this season’s beach volleyball competitions will be held in a combined tournament system, with two tournaments for each category, men’s, under-16, and under-20. The Qatar Volleyball Association also revealed the creation of elite tournaments with the participation of national team players in the U-16, U-17, U-20 and U-21 categories, which will include 6 rounds starting on November 15 and concluding on April 18.
