The Arab Camel Sports Federation revealed the details of the fourth edition of the International Handball Championship, which will be held in Labsir Square during the period from 11 to 13 April 2025, with the wide participation of 17 countries, representing the five continents.
The organizing committee of the tournament held an expanded press conference in partnership with the Qatar Handball Federation at the Federation’s headquarters in Al -Duhail, in the presence of Abdullah bin Muhammad Al -Kuwari, President of the Arab Camel Federation, Vice -Chairman of the Camel Racing Committee in Qatar, Dr. Hizam bin Nasser Al -Maqar, Secretary -General of the Arab Federation, and Ahmed Mohamed El Shaabi, President of the Qatar Handball Federation .. In addition to the members and representatives of the Arab and international federations participating in the championship, Besides representatives of the reciter and audible local media.
During the conference, all the details of the fourth edition were announced, which will witness for the first time the participation of 17 teams of the five continents, along with the Qatari team, the owner of the land and the host of the tournament: the United States of America, Australia, Colombia, Bulgaria, the Sultanate of Oman, Palestine, Morocco, Libya, Lebanon, Djibouti, Algeria, Somalia, Jordan, Tunisia, Iraq and Mauritania.
The tournament will be held on the sidelines of the large annual festival on the sword of His Highness Prince Al -Mufdi, and competitions will be held in the official stadium of the Hagna handball.
The press conference began with a word of welcome to Ahmed Mohamed Al -Shaabi, in which he said: It is our pleasure to meet here in this championship, which is a successful model for cooperation between the Qatari Federation of the hand and the Arab Union of Tower, wishing all the participants success and success, welcoming all the attendees in their second state, Qatar.

While Dr. Hizam bin Nasser Al -Maqarih revealed the talisman of the fourth edition of the championship that bears the slogan “The hand is planning … and the camel is resolved”, praising the wonderful twinning between the Hand Union and the Arab Camel Federation.
He said that the tournament is launched in the field of Basir from 11-13 April in the evening period, and the championship includes qualifiers between the participating teams, and it includes members of the Arab Federation and in which representatives of the five continents participate. The drawing ceremony for the 17 teams participating in the tournament began, where the two groups were divided into two groups, each group includes eight teams.
The winning team from the qualifiers (Morocco or Bulgaria) will face Tunisia in the final price, while Djibouti faces its Iraqi counterpart, and the Australia team will meet its Libyan counterpart. The round of 16 matches are also witnessing confrontations between the United States of America against the Sultanate of Oman, Algeria against Mauritania, the Somalia team against Jordan, the Lebanon team against Qatar and the Colombia team against Palestine.
The winner qualifies from each confrontation to the quarter -finals, and the path was determined until qualifying for the semi -finals and then the final according to the lottery, provided that all matches are held with a defeated system.
