This program is designed to help companies reduce carbon emissions in an effective and measurable way, as it relies on the use of sustainable aviation fuel, which reduces emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional aviation fuel, which contributes to achieving significant progress towards DHL’s goal of reaching To net zero emissions by 2050. The bank’s participation in the program reflects its commitment to adopting environmentally friendly practices in all its operations.
Through this cooperation with DHL Express, the bank seeks to reduce air transport emissions for its shipments by 30%, which is an important step in its endeavor to address Scope 3 emissions, which include indirect emissions resulting from the value chain, especially in transportation and distribution activities.
