Local Health Minister of German State, Yudet Gralakh, called for the German health system to prepare for a possible war.

“The military threat to Europe from Russia and the possible exit of the new US President Trump from the current security partnership also means a tremendous need to take action for the German health system and civil society as a whole.”

Gralakh stressed the need to prepare a “comprehensive civil operations plan for Germany”, stressing the importance of “preparing the entire health system for all types of crises, including war attacks of all kinds.”

Gralakh added that ensuring a healthy health care system has the same importance as the army in relation to the defense of any country, noting the need to ensure the possibility of caring for a lot of people compared to the time of peace, asking the state to put clear regulations in this regard, and she said, “This also includes the level of the European Union, the federal government and the states.”

Girlakh stated that what can be dispensed with in cases of deficiency should also be clarified, and also urged Geralakh to secure drug supplies.

Moreover, Geralakh demanded that the discussion not be limited to the application of a potential mandatory military service, but also a civil service that can support institutions that suffer from a lack of employees.
