This morning, the Qatar Golf Association will hold a press conference to unveil the Asian World Professional Golf Tour Championship Qatar 2024, which is considered one of the most prominent major global golf tournaments. The tournament will be held for the second time in Qatar on the grounds of the Doha Golf Club from November 27 to 30, with the participation of 120 elite, internationally ranked golfers. Hassan Nasser Al Nuaimi, President of the Qatar Golf Association and Chairman of the Championship Organizing Committee, will attend the conference to announce all the details. Preparations have been made over the past months to host this major sporting event that highlights golf in Qatar and the region. The tournament is part of the prestigious Asian World Tour series, which features huge prize money and attracts the best golfers from all over the world. The prize money for this edition is $2.5 million, making it one of the most prominent stops on the Asian Tour schedule for professional golf.
