The first round of the Gulf Champions League for clubs, organized by the Arab Gulf Cup Federation, begins today, and will witness four strong confrontations in the first and second groups.
In the first group, the Iraqi Duhok Club will meet the Yemeni club, Al-Ahly Sanaa, today at the Duhok Stadium at exactly eight o’clock in the evening, Iraqi time, while the second match in the same group will be held between Al-Nasr of the Emirates and Dhofar of Oman at Al Maktoum Stadium in the Emirates.
As for the second group, tomorrow is an expected confrontation between Al-Arabi of Qatar and Al-Qadisiyah of Kuwait at Al-Thumama World Cup Stadium at 6:15 pm Qatar time. On the same day, Al-Ettifaq Saudi Arabia hosts its Bahraini counterpart, Al-Riffa, at Al-Ettifaq Club Stadium
