Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the National Planning Council, the “National Development Forum: Pillar of Social Development,” organized by the National Planning Council under the slogan “Continuing Prosperity in Qatari Society,” will be held today, Sunday, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
This forum comes within the framework of a series of national development forums organized by the National Planning Council with the aim of strengthening partnerships between the public, private and non-profit sectors, and consolidating the open national dialogue on the priorities of the third national development strategy (2024-2030), which contributes to translating the aspirations of the Qatar National Vision 2030 into tangible national results.
The forum witnesses the participation of Their Excellencies ministers and senior officials, as well as leaders from the private sector, representatives of civil society, and local and international institutions operating in the State of Qatar, as it constitutes a national platform to discuss the pillar of social development, and the role of family, society, and national identity in supporting the process of national prosperity.
Participating in a dialogue session during the forum are Her Excellency Ms. Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Social Development and Family, His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Culture, His Excellency Mr. Mansour bin Ibrahim bin Saad Al Mahmoud, Minister of Public Health, and His Excellency Mr. Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, President of Qatar Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Visit Qatar.
