His Excellency Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, received in the capital, Bangkok, today His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia.
During the meeting, ways of enhancing sports cooperation between the two sides were reviewed, in a way that supports the development of the Olympic movement on the Asian continent, in addition to discussing a number of topics of common interest.
His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani also held a meeting with His Excellency Mr. Pemol Srivikorn, President of the Thai National Olympic Committee, during which sports relations between the Council and the Committee were reviewed, and ways to develop joint work were discussed.
The meeting witnessed the follow-up of preparations for upcoming sporting events and events at the continental level.
