On November 22, the Qatar Society of Engineers will organize the “Artificial Intelligence in the Construction Sector 2026 Conference” under the slogan “From Idea to Smart Project,” with broad participation from local and international experts and specialists, and the presence of an elite group of decision-makers, engineers, and those interested in the engineering and construction sector.
The conference comes within the framework of the association’s ongoing efforts to advance the engineering sector, support the digital transformation system, and employ the latest technological technologies, by highlighting the pivotal role of artificial intelligence in developing design and construction processes, raising the efficiency of project management, and consolidating the concepts of environmental and architectural sustainability in the State of Qatar.
In its objectives and main themes, the conference focuses on raising efficiency, improving decision-making, and applying data governance and information security frameworks for companies and engineering entities, in addition to reviewing practical applications and realistic cases of employing modern technology, as well as providing an interactive platform that brings together local and international experts and specialists, to exchange best practices and expand the horizons of cooperation in various fields of engineering and construction.
In her statement on this occasion, Engineer Amna Mohammed Al-Naama, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Society of Engineers, stressed the Society’s keenness to adopt and localize modern technological methods, noting that artificial intelligence techniques have become a major tool for accelerating the pace of achievement and improving the accuracy of planning and implementation in the construction sector.
She added: “Through this conference, the association seeks to keep pace with the rapid technical development and anticipate the future of building and construction, in a way that contributes to building the capabilities of national engineering cadres and creating an innovative work environment that supports sustainable development, in line with the country’s aspirations and achieving the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.”
