The Qatar Sports Federation for All organizes the second edition competitions of the race "Media and Doha"

Today, the Qatar Sports Federation organized the second edition of the “Media One Doha Run) race in the Bida Park, with the participation of 500 contestants and contestants, of various nationalities and age groups.

The race competitions for distances, 2.5, 5, 10 km, and 800 meters, were included in the category of young people, amid competition between all participants, especially children and women.

The 2.5 km race for the middle category for girls from the age of 13 to 16 years resulted in Lauer Amar winning first place, and Sirin Abu Zaki topped the junior category of 11-12 years, while she won first place in a 9 to 10 years, Afra Zafrin Anne Fareth ranked first in the Master category over 40 years.

In the open category competitions, the arrangement topped Arica M., and Catlin McKinnara won the first place in the beginner category from 7 to 8 years, and within the challenge competition for a distance of 5 km, Natalie Van Blairk won first place in the Master category.

As for the 10 km competition, Sindra Haloz topped the Master’s competitions, while the first place in the contesting category, Kelsey Cis.

In terms of men’s competitions, Gulium Elener won first place in the Masters category, while Rio Occh is the beginners category.

In the youth race, John Isak ranked first in the middle category (from 13 to 16 years), while Brylanam Elener tops the open category.

In the junior category (from 11 to 12 years), Adel Radj was in the lead, while Shadi Abu Zaki ranked first in the 9-10 years category.

In the men’s category for a distance of 5 km, Andy Hardy won first place in the Masters category, and Nawaf Khalil came in the top of the open category, while in the men’s competitions in the Master category for a distance of 10 km, Abdul Nassar ranked first, while Bin Morgan won the top of the open category .

The children’s race competitions from 3-6 years, for a distance of 800 meters, resulted in Edison Lyon’s victory in the first place for girls, followed by Maya Elias, while Sheikha Al-Abdullah ranked third, and in the boys’ competitions, Sayyar Al-Tamimi won first place, followed by Abdul Aziz Al-Mahmoud second, While Zain Salem finished third.

Mr. Abdullah Al -Dossary, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports Federation for All, stressed that the race atmosphere was wonderful and enjoyable, as the race witnessed a wide presence of different age groups, which reflects the importance of these activities in promoting community participation.

He added that the primary goal of the race is to encourage everyone to exercise, especially the advanced age groups, and to motivate young people to engage in community sports activities, noting that the federation is working to develop community sport according to the strategy of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
