The Qatar Sports for All Federation, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, concluded its summer program for 2026, which included many sports, recreational and awareness-raising activities directed at school students, with the aim of investing in the summer vacation, promoting physical activity and developing abilities and skills.

The program, which was held in cooperation with a number of government and private agencies, educational institutions, sports clubs and youth centres, witnessed wide participation from male and female students, as the Lusail Sports Hall hosted a camp for boys and girls aged 6 to 11 years, which lasted for eight weeks and included sports and recreational activities, in addition to awareness lectures on traffic laws, civil defense and first aid.

The program also included training to teach Muay Thai and self-defense to boys under 17 years old in more than 16 sports, youth and educational institutions, as well as swimming classes for children from 7 to 14 years old at Al-Arabi and Al-Wakra Clubs, in addition to training in sailing, kayaking, chess and physical fitness.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, stressed that the demand for the program and cooperation with various parties and families reflects the importance of investing the summer vacation in positive activities that contribute to developing the capabilities of young people, refining their sports skills, and increasing their knowledge.

He added that the Federation is keen, through its programs and events, to encourage children and youth to continue practicing physical activity and stay away from excessive use of electronic screens, which contributes to establishing a healthier, more active and vibrant lifestyle.
