The Qatar Stock Exchange index declined at the beginning of today’s trading by 0.76 percent, losing its balance by 76.87 points, compared to the close of the last session, and falling to the level of 10,099 points under pressure from all sectors.
Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed a negative performance for the insurance sector by 0.27 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.41 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.72 percent, the communications sector by 0.74 percent, the real estate sector by 0.78 percent, the industries sector by 0.86 percent, and the transportation sector by 1.07 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth 45.713 million riyals, distributed among 22.497 million shares, with 2,614 transactions executed.
