The Qatar Stock Exchange index declined at the beginning of today’s trading by 0.15 percent, losing its balance by 12.68 points compared to the close of the last session, falling to the level of 8620 points under pressure from four sectors.
Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed a positive performance for the communications sector by 0.46 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.34 percent, and the industrial sector by 0.10 percent. In contrast, the performance was negative for the insurance sector by 0.73 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.91 percent, the real estate sector by 0.96 percent, and the transportation sector by 1.77 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth 29,200 million riyals, distributed among 59,409 million shares, with 4,636 transactions executed.
