In turn, Oxford Economics stressed that Qatar’s budget for 2025 is balanced between major investments with conservative expectations, noting that the conservative assumption of oil price in Qatar at $ 60 a barrel “confirms financial discipline and sustainable policies in the country.” This supports Qatar’s strong credit rating, but we believe that these oil prices assumptions are conservative, given that Qatar has maintained a budget surplus over the past three years. “We expect a surplus of about 12 billion riyals in 2025,” Oxford Economics said. “And these expectations confirm the financial discipline and sustainable policies in Qatar,” and Oxford Economics estimated that the economy unrelated in Qatar will grow by 2.4% in 2024 compared to its previous 2.5% expectations, up from 1.1% in 2023. And improved growth in the non -oil sector at the end of the year at the end of the year. The past, as it rose to 1.7% on an annual basis in the fourth quarter, from an average of 0.8% in the previous three quarters.
