The Qatari Ministry of Environment and Climate Change confirmed that the levels of radiation in the air and territorial waters in the State of Qatar are among the natural rates.
The Ministry stated, in a statement today, Sunday, that it is following up carefully, and around the clock radiation levels through land and marine radiological monitoring networks scattered throughout the country, as the data issued by it shows the stability of the radioactive situation in the local environment.
The ministry indicated that it recently launched an advanced national network for radiological monitoring, operating around the clock and covering all regions of the state, with the aim of early monitoring of radiation in cases of its rise from the natural borders, and ensuring the achievement of the highest levels of radiological and nuclear safety at the regional and global levels.
