Today, the second edition of the Cultural Cultural Foundation, the second edition of the challenge of the challenge of high jumping, will be launched today on the Romanian Cultural Theater. Barshim revealed other competitive goals included in the championship, which is to allocate an exclusive sports platform for the stars of high jump in the world, which combines elite performance and creativity, and is held in symbolic places that highlight Qatar’s cultural and sports identity.
Barshim stressed that the tournament seeks to support the new generations of athletes, and motivate them to develop capabilities in high jump and transfer the high jump competition from the fields of stadiums to symbolic arenas to express the value of competition and skill and employ them to introduce cultural places in Qatar
Moataz Barshim revealed that he is looking to achieve success in the second edition of the championship and excel in the first place, adding that the challenge of gravity will be more powerful this time with the participation of the female component and that this is a development of competition and its idea based on expanding the base of the high jump for societies and drawing attention to the symbolism of cultural places as it attracts another audience other than sports fans and athletics.
The second edition of the gravitational challenge is witnessing the participation of a constellation of the most prominent high jump stars, including a number of Olympic medals, such as Chilby McCaywan and Hamish Kerr, along with the founder of the championship Moataz Barchesh. For the first time, a group of game stars, the most prominent of them in the world, is joined in the world, Yaroslava Maochik, Australian Ellenor Patterson, and German Christina Hunsel, in a move confirming the development of the championship and its global dye.
Participants in the championship compete for great financial prizes with a total of “155,000 USD”, and the first -place winner receives a unique cup designed by international artist Ahmed Al -Bahrani, to cherish sports excellence and embody the spirit of Qatari heritage.
The “Gravity Challenge” championship is supported by Visit QATAR, Irid, Bouma, Kozette, Gaitur, Buranan, strategic partnership with Katara, Al -Kass Channel, and the Sheraton Grand Doha Hotel.

Mohamed Issa Al -Fadala, President of the Qatar Athletics Federation, stressed that the challenge of gravity was a great success in its first edition last year and that they are confident in achieving success for the current season in Katara.
He added that the participation of the elite of high jump stars in the tournament this time explains the great value of competition and its importance in expanding the base of the game to include other fans, stressing at the same time that they in the Qatari Federation welcome the stars of the high jump in Qatar.
He explained: The second version is expected to be distinguished in all respects from the reality of the participants in the high jump, their levels and numbers, along with the great enthusiasm of the Qatari champion Moataz Barshim to achieve success in the global jump.
Ukrainian Yaroslava: enthusiastic to participate
Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahatuchk, holding the Ladies Higher Jump Records, and winner of the Gold Medal of the Paris 2024 Olympics, expressed her strong enthusiasm for the experience of high jumping and participating in the challenge of gravity in Doha.
She said in a press conference that she is looking forward to a more distinctive season that starts from Qatar after it reached a good physical and psychological stage that will help her a lot to achieve its goals this year, pointing out that the challenge of gravity is a distinctive idea that fell in itself a good position and is looking to achieve success in Qatar, noting that she found a warm welcome in Qatar, which is not strange for her to what she knows about Doha and people’s love for athletics.
