Tomorrow, the competitions of Saleh Saqr Ramadan Football Championship will start tomorrow, in its forty -eighth edition, which will be held under the supervision of the Qatar Football Association and hosted by Doha Sports Stadium, and will continue until the 21st of this month with the participation of 16 teams.
At the opening of the tournament, the Cavoud team, the defending champion, meets the “Building Engineering” team at nine o’clock, while the second meeting, which begins at ten thirty in the evening, combines the “Hargeisa” and “Fry Day” teams within the same group.
The championship draw resulted in the distribution of the participating teams to four groups, as the first group included teams: Cavoud, the title of the title of last year’s version, construction engineering, Harisa, and Frya Dayfiva, while the second group included teams: Mushirb, the summer of the last version champion, supporters of Gallery, Doha Federation, and Al -Nasr FC.
The third group came as a team: Kenya FC, the Gambian team, the restaurants of the good driver, and the Somali community, while the fourth group included the teams: Al -Montazah FC, Al Jazeera FC, Box to Box, and National Exchange.
Mr. Imran Saleh Saqr, General Supervisor of the Championship, confirmed that the organizing committee prepared all arrangements for the launch of the new version competitions of the competition, which witnesses the participation of several teams for the first time.
Saqr pointed to the great interest in the tournament by the coaches in the clubs, along with its wide popularity and the strong competition it is witnessing.
He also noted the support provided by the Qatar Football Association, by providing all the necessary ways to make the championship a success, praising the efforts of all the working committees and their keenness to follow up the smallest details to ensure a distinguished organization.
The Saleh Saqr Ramadan Championship, who won the Qatar Football Association Award, “Football for All”, is one of the most prominent Ramadan tournaments in Qatar and the Gulf region since its inception in 1974. Throughout its long history, it has succeeded in preserving its prominent position and the continuity of its distinguished presence.
