The International Football Association (FIFA) and the local organizing committee of the FIFA 2025 Arab Cup and U -17 World Cup FIFA Qatar 2025, the scoring phase of the “Volunteering FIFA Qatar 2025 program, to provide support to the upcoming championships in late this year.
This came during an event held on the occasion of the launch of the program in the Museum 3-2-1, Qatar Olympic and Athletes, where the program organizers met with representatives of the media and the local community, and they invited those interested in volunteers to submit applications for participating in supporting the two sports event to be held in the next November and December.
The program aims to attract 4 thousand volunteers to support operational operations in 20 fields, including championship management, media and fans services, permits, hospitality, and others.
Mr. Jassim Abdulaziz Al -Jassem, CEO of the Organizing Local Committee, stressed that the volunteers represent the beating heart of the major championships hosted by the State of Qatar during the past decade, praising their active role, not only in providing operational support, but as ambassadors of the rich culture and good hospitality, through their direct interaction with visitors and fans from all over the world.
Al -Jassem said: “The Arab FIFA Cup Qatar 2025, and the U -17 World Cup FIFA Qatar 2025 will not be an exception, as we will continue to consolidate the legacy of volunteering that we embodied during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the Asian Cup Qatar 2023, and we look forward to working with the volunteer community to provide exceptional experiences during the two championships. The “Volunteering FIFA Qatar 2025” program aims to attract enthusiasm and passion volunteers, to play a pivotal role in enriching the experience of the two championships. It is required for progress that the volunteer be residing in the State of Qatar, and that he is at least 18 years old, and that he is fluent in the English language, while considering mastery of other languages, such as Arabic, an additional advantage. It is also required to be prepared to participate throughout the championship that is chosen for it, including attending the prescribed training sessions, without the need for previous volunteer experience, while showing the team spirit, initiative, and affection.
It is noteworthy that the registration door for volunteering will open for two weeks, while the selection process begins next June, with personal interviews taking place at the volunteer center located in the Lusail Stadium, with the exemption of those who have previous volunteer experiences in FIFA championships and events from the interviews.
