The lung plays a pivotal role in the body, as it guarantees oxygen access to the body, and thus fuel for all its cells. Lung health can be maintained by taking some important measures.
The Lung Information Service in Germany explained that the ducts of endurance, such as walking, running, swimming and cycling, have a positive impact on lung health; It increases the number of red blood cells, and then transmitting more oxygen across the body.
And if one already suffers from lung disease such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, he must consult a doctor about the appropriate training and the extent of its density.
Singing and playing
The Association of Lung Disease Clinics in Germany said that singing also contributes to significantly improving the lung ventilation.
Playing blowing machines such as crinate, oboe or trumpet training the muscles of the respiratory system, thus improving lung functions, and therefore it is recommended for people who suffer from lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary or asthma.
Smoking quitting
Studies indicate that more than 80% of all malignant lung tumors are caused by tobacco smoking, whether it is direct or indirect, tobacco smoke contains more than 70 carcinogenic chemicals.
Electronic cigarette smoking should also be quit because there is evidence that this smoking raises the risk of increasingly inflammation, not only in the lungs, but throughout the cardiovascular system.
Good ventilation for the house
The Federal Office for the Protection of the Environment in Germany said that regular ventilation of the house prevents the formation of mold, as it replaces the stagnant air with pure air, and the soft dust and pollutants leak abroad.
Therefore, the window should be opened wide instead of its inclination, and the reciprocal ventilation improves air exchange.
To ventilate the house well, the Federal Office recommended following the following general general rules:
- In the times of the cold year, the room should be ventilated at a rate of two to three times a day for about five minutes. It takes more time to exchange air in the warm year, so it is recommended to ventilate for a longer period.
- After waking up, a window (windows) should be opened wide open for five to ten minutes.
- We need to ventilate during and after cooking and shower for five to ten minutes.
- It is better not to use candles (scented) and incense sticks, because the combustion caused by their use produces soft dust that may be a burden on the lung.
Breathing exercises
Breathing exercises provide the lung with more oxygen even what is called the base areas, which are far from the center. The next breathing exercise can be practiced every morning as soon as you wake up:
Sit on the edge of the bed, put your smartphone next to your side with the timer in two minutes, then put one of your hands on your stomach.
Now you can start a breathing exercise known as 6-3-6-3 as follows: Slue deeply from your nose until your stomach protrudes, and during that, take to six. After that, hold your breath and count to three. After that, exhale with the count to six, then exhale from your mouth through a narrow opening between your uninterrupted lips. After exhale, hold your breath and take to three.
This breathing exercise is not only beneficial to the lung, but also helps to relieve stress, reduce blood pressure and strengthen the muscles of the respiratory system in general.
