Today, in the Egyptian city of Alexandria, the draw ceremony for the 36th edition of the Arab Club Basketball Championship will be held, which will be organized by Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club during the period from October 1 to 12, 2024. It will also be preceded by the draw for women’s clubs via the “Zoom” application, which adds an additional dimension to the organization and reflects the level of professionalism in managing the tournament. The current edition of the tournament is the most prominent in years, as it recorded the participation of 18 teams from various Arab countries.
The following clubs have confirmed their participation: Al-Arabi and Al-Gharafa from Qatar, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, Smouha and Sporting from Egypt, Sharjah, Al-Wahda and Al-Bataeh from the Emirates, Beirut and Al-Antoni from Lebanon, Al-Qadisiyah and Kazma from Kuwait, Wydad and Widad Boufarik from Algeria, Esperance and Al-Nasr from Libya, Al-Seeb from the Sultanate of Oman, and Association Salé from Morocco.
