His Excellency Mr. Saad bin Ali Al -Kharji, President of Qatar for Tourism, hosted an official dinner in “Sanad Doha” in Mashirib Heart of Doha, in honor of the visiting delegation from the German city of Dusseldorf. The occasion was attended by His Excellency Mr. Hendrick Foust, Prime Minister of the North Rhine -Rhine -Westphalia State, as a guest of honor, along with a number of senior officials, and official actors for the Qatar Chamber and the Qatari Businessmen Association. The evening included words of a number of prominent guests, including His Excellency Mr. Saad bin Ali Al -Kharji, President of Qatar Tourism; And His Excellency Mr. Hendrick Foust, Prime Minister of the North Rhine-Rhine State; And His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al -Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Trade and Industry; And Mr. Christian Tariq Chefrt, Executive Director of the Intermediate German Companies Office in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The words were followed by an introductory offer made by the ICIS QATAR team.
During his speech, His Excellency the President of Qatar for Tourism stressed the growing partnership between the State of Qatar and Germany, which is based on mutual respect, common values and continuous cooperation for decades, which is getting more powerful after year, and also welcomed his happiness with all visitors from Germany, sports fans, businessmen, and families looking for unique experiences in Qatar.
The evening concluded with an open communication session, which constituted an opportunity for fruitful dialogue and the exchange of ideas between representatives of the Qatari and German sides. The event reflected the depth of the strong relations between the State of Qatar and the Federal Republic of Germany, and the renewal of emphasis on joint commitment to enhance cooperation in the areas of tourism, business and cultural exchange.
Qatar for Tourism, the authority responsible for the organization, the advancement of the tourism sector, the expansion of its offers through the development of the country’s rich cultural heritage and the development of luxurious attractions and tourism experiences. On the other hand, Qatar Tourism received an official delegation from the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, on a visit aimed at exchanging experiences and enhancing cooperation in the fields of licenses, holiday houses management, and programs of excellence in service and training, as well as Events and Exhibitions Department.
During the visit, which was held at the Qatar Tourism headquarters, the visiting delegation was briefed on a comprehensive presentation on licensing and follow -up mechanisms, as well as open discussions on the best practices used in the tourism sector in the State of Qatar.
The visit concluded with an official lunch session held in the “Bahalbar” restaurant, during which it had the opportunity to deepen the bonds of cooperation and exchange of visions between the two sides.
This visit comes within the framework of Qatar’s keenness to provide bridges of regional cooperation and exchanging experiences in a way that enhances Qatar’s position as a leading destination on the map of regional and international tourism.
