Within the activities of the summer camp 2025 in the Al -Khor Sports Club and sponsored by Seashore, and under the supervision of the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the club’s youth committee organized in cooperation with the General Administration of Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior, an awareness workshop in the civil defense for a number of employees of the summer camp.
The workshop aims to introduce the participants to the concepts related to fires, enhance awareness of safety and prevention procedures, and to introduce the role of civil defense in protecting lives and property, in addition to providing practical instructions to deal with emergency situations.
The workshop included practical training in combating fires, explaining the types of fire extinguishers, the advantages of each of them and how to use them according to the type of fire. Explain its steps and methods of implementation effectively.
For his part, Hamad Ahmed Al -Muhannadi, supervisor of the youth activities and programs in the club, affirmed that the workshop aims to spread the culture of civil defense among the youth of the camp. Al -Muhannadi praised the continued cooperation of the General Administration of Civil Defense with the club in ensuring the awareness of youth and society and the role of civil defense in protecting society from risks.
