The Camel Racing Organizing Committee continues its preparations to hold the Mafarid Summer Festival 2024, which owners of Mafarid camels are eagerly awaiting. The grand festival will begin in Al Shahaniya Square on June 15 and its activities will continue until September 7. The festival includes six preliminary races in addition to the final race.

Al-Muhannadi said that they are very happy with the great response enjoyed by the Al-Mafarid Summer Festival 2024, as the festival is very well received by the owners who constantly ask when registration will start and all matters related to the festival, stressing that the organizing committee for camel racing is currently making great efforts to prepare. For the festival to come out in the form that befits it and in the form that satisfies the fans and lovers of the sport of fathers and grandfathers, stressing that there will be many pleasant surprises for the participants in the race and for the public as well. Regarding the details of the Mafarid Summer Festival, Al-Muhannadi said that it includes holding 6 preliminary races in addition to the final race, which will be on… It will take place on the 6th and 7th of next September, before the official start of the new season. He said: Each preliminary race will consist of 12 rounds of 1,500 metres, in addition to 4 additional rounds for the companies participating in the festival.
