In preparation for holding the World Padel Championship 2024, the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel and Badminton Federation signed a partnership contract with VISITQATAR to sponsor the tournament, which will be held during the period from October 28 to November 2, on the courts of the Khalifa International Complex, with the participation of 32 teams (16 for men and the same for women). Regarding the Qatari participation, he said, “Our team is participating as the host, and our team participated before after clinching the Asian-African qualifying ticket, and this time we have a seat as a host country. It is known that Qatar previously hosted the same event in 2021 and achieved great success. The World Padel Championship is the most prominent on the agenda of the International Federation of the Game, and includes the participation of two separate categories, for men and women, and this new edition will be held with the participation of 16 national teams in each category. The total prize money for the tournament is 500,000 euros, distributed equally between men and women and among all teams that reached the finals.
