Vodafone is the exclusive telecommunications sponsor of the Arab Cup and the U-17 World Cup

Vodafone Qatar announced its participation as the exclusive and official telecommunications sponsor of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 and the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025™.
Vodafone Qatar provides an advanced technological infrastructure that includes the fifth generation (5G) network nationwide, high-speed fiber-optic communication, and secure links between the stadiums and the main media center, in order to ensure smooth operation during the two sporting events, and to allow effective coordination and instant broadcast capabilities.
On this occasion, Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani, CEO of Vodafone Qatar, said: “At Vodafone Qatar, we realize the importance of sport as a motivating force for promoting unity among peoples and positive transformation. In line with Qatar National Vision 2030, we are proud of our commitment to supporting the country in hosting global sporting events aimed at promoting cultural exchange and developing ties between communities.”
He added: “We are proud to have been chosen as the official communications sponsor for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™ and the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025™, and we look forward to contributing to the success of these two upcoming tournaments.”
The FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™ will be held from December 1 to 18 on six World Cup stadiums. 16 teams will participate in the tournament, with one of them having the chance to lift the championship trophy. While the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025™ will be held from November 3 to 27, 2025, it will be the first of five successive editions to be held in the State of Qatar.
