Vodafone Qatar holds “Communication Skills Development” program

Vodafone Qatar successfully held the first training course of the “Communication Skills Development” program, which focused on developing customer service skills and the skills needed to present services and sales, within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the company with Qatar Charity.
The first training session included interactive discussions, case studies, and various practical activities designed specifically to meet the needs of Qatar Charity employees.
The course, delivered by Mr. Mahmoud Reda, Talent Development Manager at Vodafone Qatar, emphasized the importance of effective communication, provided professional tips on how to deal with customers, introduced trainees to different customer behavioral patterns, how to build emotional bonds with diverse customers, problem-solving skills, and much more.
Commenting on the course, Ali Ateeq Al Abdulla, Head of Media Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at Vodafone Qatar, said: “As part of Vodafone Qatar’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, it was a pleasure to work closely with Qatar Charity staff to prepare them for innovative methods of work and communication, and apply them in their tasks. Through this course, the trainees were able to understand the general framework of customer relationship management and learn about the best corporate practices that they can apply in the future.”
For his part, Mr. Ali Al-Gharib, Director of Resource Development Department, expressed his gratitude to Vodafone Qatar for providing these courses, which came in implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two institutions. He stressed Qatar Charity’s keenness to provide its employees with the experiences and skills usually available in private sector institutions.
